Progress Report

The planning process is made up of several steps (see About the Plan for more information):

1. Planning Team meets with Town staff and reviews existing plans and documents (complete).
2. Planning Team conducts several public workshops to gather public input and determine a community shared vision for the future of the Town. (One meeting of three complete).
3. Planning Team writes the Comprehensive Plan draft.
4. Public comment on draft Plan: Around the end of June the Planning Team posts the Plan draft on this website so that residents may review and e-mail comments on the Plan. 
5. Two joint public workshops with the PCDC and Board of Trustees (tentatively scheduled for August 10th and August 24th) to review the draft Plan.
6. Adoption: The PCDC is tentatively scheduled to adopt the Comprehensive Plan on September 14th and the Board is tentative scheduled to ratify the Plan on September 21st.
