Workshop 1 - "I'm In!"

Thank you to all of you who joined us on Wednesday, March 11th for the kickoff for the Comprehensive Plan Update!  Over 50 participants met to discuss and give their opinions on the goals outlined in the 1998 Comprehensive Plan and begin to create new goals for the updated Plan.  This interactive meeting focused on:

• Helping citizens understand the challenges the Town is facing--Where are we now?
• Describing the Update and what it will mean for the community--How will it effect you?
• Using keypad polling to determine whether the 1998 Comprehensive Plan’s vision and goals are still applicable--What are our goals?
• Helping establish what the citizen priorities are so the Town can find ways to continue to finance them--What are our priorities?
• Officially launching "EnvisionIn' Lyons". Tell us what you love about Lyons via online, written, photo, or video submissions, written postcards, or even text messages!  These comments will be made available online.

The results of the keypad polling will be posted soon.  If you have not already completed the survey, please do so (at right).If you were not able to attend, you can still offer your input by taking the Community Survey, and contributing your thoughts, art, music, video, photos and more via the EnvisionIn' Lyons section of the website.
